In certain circumstances, ZynBit can install but appear not to be installed. The symptom of this situation is that the ZynBit install completes with no errors, but fails to appear in the email window. Further, reviewing the add/remove programs list in the control panel fails to show ZynBit for Outlook.
The typical cause of this problem is that ZynBit is installed by someone who is not a machine administrator. The file installs correct in the applications directory, but the files are not accessible to the user. Therefore, an access error is received when trying to using ZynBit.
The work around is to have a system admin grant access to the c:/Program Files (x86)/ZynBit directory for the user’s profile.
